Mudchute Park and Farm

All social media aren't that bad, as long as you understand how addictive they can be and monopolise so much of your time and attention, that you may as well forget about living in the moment.
Last weekend, I was sent a video about a farm in London (out of all places!). I heard about it but, somehow, it didn't stick in my mind. I knew about a farm in the Vauxhall area, but the Mudchute Park and Farm, I never visited them in all my years in London.
So, I went to explore the place. It was completely surreal!
Animals in large parks and the high-rise buildings of Canary Wharf as a backdrop. A moment in time caught as if it was photoshopped.
There were families walking around with children all over connecting with nature, feeding grass or seeds to animals, and simply having a great time.
I have thus decided to make this place my Mental Health Sunday!
A day when I become a complete part of nature, a time to give my mind some rest and just live in the moment. It is also the ideal place for picnics. Today was sunny enough and it was an amazing opportunity to ground myself, touching the grass and just concentrate on my heartbeat.

What have you decided to make your Sunday a Mental Health Sunday?
Do you have any other day, when the focus is on you, how you feel and your needs?

There is no entrance fee to the park and everyone is welcome.

You can donate £3, £5 or £10 using the card reader on the wall in the café.

There is also a gardening club a stone throw away from the café.
