Let’s get you back to sleep

Having sleep Problems?
In partnership with:
Your sleep is as individual as your genes, your gut microbiota, and the entire list of events that have shaped you into the person you are today.
When it comes to sleep, so many factors are at play that it may be difficult to pinpoint the source(s) of the problem. For example, it could be that you have developed habits which are disrupting your sleep, and this can be as simple as over-exposure to blue light (screens) or an over-consumption of caffeine, especially in the later hours of the day, or exercising too late in the evening, or you sleep in a bed (or bedroom) that is not comfortable, has mould, or you may have noisy neighbours.
However, if you are here today, you know perfectly well that it is not that simple, and you probably tried it all to fix your sleep.
Trust me!
I have been on that journey myself. It took me decades to get my sleep to where it is today because I have done the work and I now know what impacts my sleep and the quality of my sleep.
My personal and professional intent to get to the bottom of my sleep problems has taken me on a journey of discovery. What I have discovered has really been mind-blowing.
If I knew back then what I know today… We have all heard ourselves saying this at one point or another in our lives. Right?
Naturopathic Medicine allows me to understand your body at the deepest levels. For example, are some of your genes predisposing you to be a night owl? A late riser? Have your life experiences made you overthink everything, doubt yourself, or gave you too much space for rumination? Are your thoughts keeping you up at night — your brain racing when it should slow down and give you some peace and quiet?
Are you in some pain and discomfort making finding a suitable position very difficult, and so getting some sleep becomes extremely difficult?
Is your gut keeping you up because there is a disco happening all night, every night? Is your gut microbiota secreting substances that stimulate/irritate your brain?
Is your home infested with mould, breathing in mycotoxins that inflame your airways and play a key role in histamine production that is also keeping you awake? Do you experience allergic symptoms as you wake up?
-
Diet
To get a good night's sleep, the food you eat should not impede the quality of your sleep (e.g., going to bed hungry… full… experiencing digestive pain… etc. Do you eat the wrong food/have intolerances?).
-
Lifestyle
We all need some release! Our lives are stressful enough. Our lives are demanding enough. And so, a sedentary lifestyle may lead you to overthink, rumination and anxiety disorders and sleep problems.
-
Me-time
When was the last time you had some ‘me-time’?We know it and yet it is the last thing we allow ourselves to do: to be by ourselves and be present. We can’t be happy if we can’t be our authentic selves.
-
Growth
Are you giving yourself the opportunity to grow and be your best self? Boredom and monotony are unresourceful states and these can have a detrimental impact on your sleep and your mental health.

Your privacy matters.
Your answers are safe with us. We do not share your information with anyone.
What can you expect from us.
First and foremost, we need to “know” you.
As soon as you have filled out and sent the form above, we will contact you for your initial consultation at the time you have given us.
Then, we will send you medical questionnaires to complete and return. It is important that you fill out each section as best as you can. So, take your time and do not feel overwhelmed.
You will then be booked for your next consultation. The appointment will last 90 minutes. During this time, we will discuss the main points from your medical questionnaires and any issues you have raised in your MYMOP.
Following the consultation, you will receive a comprehensive Naturopathic Medicine report, a Stress Report and recipe booklets. You may also be recommended natural supplements to support your digestive system (e.g., digestive enzymes, targeted multi or probiotics), your immune system, or to address a particular health problem (e.g., inflammation).
During the consultation, we may also discuss functional testing. This will be explained further in your report.
We would usually like to see you after 4 weeks to establish progress, and challenges or to discuss new symptoms. Please, note that we only provide initial and follow-up in one bundle.
